DESIGN DIRECTION
I work with owners to define what a place should feel like, then carry that intention through design and delivery. Every engagement begins with the place itself: its landscape, light, materials and story.
The feeling of a place is decided long before the first guest arrives.

1
Concept and guest experience direction
For new projects and repositionings. Narrative, atmosphere, material direction and the guest journey, defined before the wider team is briefed, and set out as a brief your architects and designers can build on.
2
Design advisory
For projects already in motion. Senior design input on concept, guest experience and delivery, from a regular monthly presence to support at key decision points.
3
Full design, by selection
Architecture, interiors and curation for a small number of projects each year, from first narrative to completion, with a local architect of record where required. Currently in development: a wellness retreat in Exuma, the Bahamas.
Support for project and design teams
I work alongside appointed teams when a hospitality project needs additional senior design input—from reviewing proposals before construction to coordinating design decisions and resolving issues affecting the guest experience.
An engagement can begin with a defined 7–10-day assignment, with further support agreed around the project’s needs.
Discuss a project
For owners of hotels, resorts and heritage estates who want a place that could only exist where it is.
